January 14 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Deposit Insurance Agency said on Friday it is offering for sale an office of insolvent lender Beogradska Banka in central Belgrade for a price of 3.88 million euro ($4.45 million).
The 381 sq m office space located in Knez Mihajlova street is a part of the Palata Albanija business center, a building protected by Serbia's law on cultural property, the agency said in a statement.
The call for bids in the public auction will close on February 11. The bids will be opened on February 18.
Beogradska Banka was declared bankrupt in 2002, along with Beobanka, Investbanka and Jugobanka, as part of the restructuring of Serbia's banking sector after the fall of former president Slobodan Milosevic.
