- The talks between Turkish Airlines and Serbia’s troubled flag carrier JAT Airways on reaching a strategic partnership are going in the right direction, JAT CEO Srdjan Radovanovic said.
- The government in Belgrade completed talks with Russia 10 days ago regarding a $200 million loan to support the Balkan country's budget, Serbia's Finance Minister Diana Dragutinovic said. Russia is expected to approve the loan to Serbia at an annual interest rate of 3.57%, Dragutinovic said.
- Serbia is preparing measures to stop the Kosovo property agency, KPA, from selling the Brezovica ski resort, Serbia's Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic said. KPA’s tender for the sale of Brezovica, launched on Saturday, was opened without Serbia’s approval, Dinkic said. Kosovo, where 90% of population is ethnic Albanian, declared its independence from Serbia in 2008. Serbia, backed by its historic ally Russia, said it would never recognise the breakaway.
