November 17 (SeeNews) - Serbia and Kazakhstan will work on setting up the proper conditions for the launch of a direct Air Serbia flight on the Belgrade-Astana route, Belgrade mayor Sinisa Mali said.
The flight would further connect the two countries and would boost the development of economic and tourism potential, Mali said in a statement on Tuesday.
The flights between the capital cities of Serbia and Kazakhstan are expected to be introduced in the lead-up to the 2017 Expo, which begins in June, Mali said in an interview with Serbian TVStudioB on Tuesday.
Sinisa Mali took part in the Kazakhstan-Serbia business forum, which took place in Astana on Tuesday.
