March 12 (SeeNews) - State-run railway operator Zeleznica Srbije said on Tuesday that it has begun a 500 million dinars ($4.7 million /4.3 million euro) overhaul of the railway line connecting Lukicevo to Zrenjanin Fabrika, in northern Serbia.
The works on the railway section 8 km in length started on February 20 and are scheduled for completion within 270 days, Zeleznica Srbije said in a press release.
The reconstruction works are carried out by local company ZGOP.
