June 3 (SeeNews) - Romanian distributor of construction materials and finishes Sipex Company started trading on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), the bourse said on Friday.
The company's shares are traded under the SPX ticker, the BVB said in a press release.
The listing follows a private placement, through which Sipex sold 16,595,656 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.10 lei apiece, at a subscription price of 0.64 lei per share, raising a total of 10.6 million lei ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) in February. The anticipated market capitalization of the company is 170.6 million lei.
This year, Sipex plans to open new offices, launch an online store and implement a new visual identity for the company. Sipex also said it aims to move to the BVB's regulated market in the future.
Sipex, founded in 1997, employs 300 people and operates through a network of 12 logistics centers across the country.
As of 1205 CET on Friday, Sipex shares traded at 0.64 lei, bourse data showed.
