September 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian investment fund SIF Banat Crisana [BSE:SIF1] said its net profit fell to 51.3 million lei ($13.1 million/11.6 million euro) in the first eight months of the year.
Last year, the fund reported a net profit of 149.2 million lei for the first eight months of 2014.
Net asset value (NAV) increased to 1.76 billion lei at the end of August from 1.59 billion a year earlier, the fund said in its assets and liabilities statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Friday.
NAV per share climbed to 3.2030 lei from 2.8962 lei at end-August 2014.
SIF Banat Crisana had 171 companies in its portfolio at the end of August, including 45 listed on a regulated market.
