BUCHAREST (Romania), April 28 (SeeNews) – Romanian cybersecurity company Safetech Innovations [BSE:SAFE] said on Wednesday that it has signed a 1.502 million lei ($367.800/304,900 euro) contract with the country's Special Telecommunications Service (STS) for providing cybersecurity solutions and services.
The contract is valid until July 14, 2021, Safetech said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
Under the deal, Safetech will provide all ancillary services related to the acquisition of computer equipment and applications for the modernization, consolidation, cybersecurity and resilience of STS' service and communications infrastructure.
Established in 2011, Safetech Innovations currently employs 43.
In January, the company started trading on AeRO, the alternative market of the BVB, following a private placement of shares in October, through which the company raised 2.5 million lei.
Safetech's shares traded at 21.8 lei as at 1129 on Wednesday on the BVB.
STS is a Romanian state agency with a military status which coordinates activities in the field of special secure communications.
