August 21 (SeeNews) - Rompetrol Downstream, the retail division of the KMG International Group in Romania, said on Wednesday it has opened a new fuel station under the Rompetrol Partner franchise in Patrauti commune, in Suceava county, following a $1.5 million (1.35 million euro) investment.
The station was built and is operated by local logistics and distribution company Euro Vasilas, Rompetrol said in a press release.
The station has a LPG supply point, an automated carwash for cars and trucks, a store and restaurant area and will employ 30.
At the end of July, Rompetrol Downstream operated 939 fuel points, 70 more than a year earlier. It also operates six fuel deposits in Arad, Craiova, Mogosoaia, Simleul Silvaniei, Vatra Dornei and Zarnesti as well as three bottling stations for liquefied petroleum gas in Bacau, Arad and Pantelimon.
