February 22 (SeeNews) - Romanian concrete products maker Prebet Aiud [BSE:PREB] concluded a contract worth 1.2 million euro ($1.27 million) for the purchase of a machine for the production of prestressed beams, it said.
The value of the contract exceeds 10% of the total value of the company's assets, Prebet Aiud said in a report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Tuesday.
The acquisition of the machine will lead to increases in the company's production capacity and its turnover, while also allowing it to expand the range of prefabricated products it offers.
The company will pay the sum to the undisclosed seller in five installments, no later than July 28.
Prebet Aiud shares last traded traded at 1.87 lei as at 1135 CET on February 17 on the main market of the BVB.
