December 27 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, grew by a nominal 9.5% year-on-year to 411.9 billion lei ($93 billion/85 billion euro) in November, compared to a 9.8% increase in October, the central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's M3 money supply rose 1.9% in November, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, November M3 was 5.5% higher on the year and was 1.6% higher on the month.
Romania's M1 rose 15.6% on the year to 257.2 billion lei last month, compared to 15.5% in October.
Net foreign assets jumped 11% in November, reaching 183.7 billion lei, while net domestic assets rose by 8.3% to 228.1 billion lei.
