Romania's Jan-Aug Industrial Sales Fall 17% Y/Y – Table

October 6 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales fell by 17% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2009, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said on Tuesday.

In August alone, industrial sales were 10.5% lower month-on-month and 16.9% lower than a year earlier.

Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 7.3% in the first eight months of last year and increased by 5.4% in 2008.
