October 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial output fell by an annual 9.2% in the January-August period, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said on Wednesday.
The country's August industrial output was down 0.3% from the previous month and fell 5.9% on the year, INS said in a statement. The figures are seasonally and working-day adjusted.

Romania’s industrial output rose by 0.9% last year. It increased by 5.4% in 2007 after rising by 7.1% in 2006.
