November 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales rose 12.9% year-on-year in October, after growing by 7.8% in September, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Wednesday.
All main industrial groups sales posted annual growth in October except mining, which was 4.7% lower on the year, INS said in a press release.
Sales of capital goods grew by 17.6%, of energy by 9%, of durable goods by 10.4%, of non‐durable goods by 9.3% and of intermediate goods by 11.6%.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's industrial sales were up by 8.5%, following a rise of 8.1% in September. In October, sales of capital goods grew by a monthly 12.6%, of durable goods by 12.1%, and of intermediate goods by 8.9% and of on‐durable goods by 4.3%. Sales of energy were down 0.9% on the month.
In 2017, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.7%.
