April 2 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial producer prices grew by 2.9% on the year in February on the back of a strong rise of utilities prices, the statistical office, INS, said on Thursday.
In January, Romania's industrial producer price index (PPI) increased by 4.74% on the year.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices fell by 0.86% in February, compared to a 1.43% rise in January, INS said, citing provisional figures.
On the domestic market, industrial producer prices increased by 3.36% year-on-year in February, while on the external market prices rose by an annual 2.12%.
