January 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian roof tiles manufacturer Depaco, part of Teraplast Group [BSE:TRP], said on Monday it has named Marian Pirvu as its new general manager.
Marian Pirvu has been working for more than 20 years in the industrial and residential construction business, during which period he has also held managerial positions, Depaco said in a press release.
He also has a strong international expertise, gained in his previous roles in several countries in the Central and Eastern Europe - Bulgaria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia.
Pirvu is replacing Valeriu Irimescu.
"Together, we will carry on the success story of the company and we want Wetterbest to continue its ascension as a reference brand in the field of roofing, by continuing expansion in Romania and in the region," Pirvu said.
In January 2018, Romanian plastic products manufacturer Teraplast Group took control of Depaco by increasing its stake in the company to 67% and said it targeted 100% ownership.
Teraplast shares traded 4.88% lower at 0.2340 lei on the BVB by 1324 CET on Monay.
