BUCHAREST (Romania), March 13 (SeeNews) - Romania's annual consumer price inflation quickened to 4.7% in February from 4.3% in January, the national statistical office, INS, said on Tuesday.
Food prices rose 3.74% year-on-year in February, while non-food prices were up 6.27%, INS said in a statement.
Prices of services rose by 2.92% year-on-year in February.
On a monthly comparison basis, Romania's consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.3% in February, as food prices climbed 0.61%, non-food prices increased 0.13% and prices of services rose 0.18%.
