September 27 (SeeNews) - Romanian training and consultancy firm Ascendis said on Thursday it opened an office in neighbouring Moldova.
The company targets a turnover of 500,000 euro ($644,200) in the first year of operations in Moldova, Ascendis said in a statement.
It plans to have at least 10 clients by the end of 2012 and to increase their number to at least 20 by the end of 2013.
The company said Moldova's business sector is developing and an increasing number of companies are being set up or are expanding and need professional training for their employees.
Ascendis has more than 140 clients in Romania. It generated a turnover of 4.2 million euro in 2011.
