October 31 (SeeNews) - Romanian information technology group K Tech Electronics reported on Wednesday a nine-month turnover of $62.5 million (43 million euro), up 35% on the year.
The company did not provide profit figures.
“The good results achieved in the period are due mostly to the consolidation policy followed by K Tech Electronics so far this year,” the company's marketing director, Catalin Butolo, said in a statement. "With the help of the four divisions we managed to achieve a turnover of $20.6 million in the third quarter."
Retail accounted for 47% of the total turnover, distribution for 45%, and the online and corporate divisions generated the remaining eight percent. K Tech Electronics said it invested some $3.5 million in developing its online and distribution divisions in the first nine months.
The company said earlier it expects its turnover this year to reach $105 million, compared to $84.2 million in 2006.
K Tech Electronics is part of IT group K Tech-Ultra PRO (www.ktech.ro), which assembles PCs and sells computer components, software and mobile phones.
