November 15 (SeeNews) - Majority state-owned Romanian drug maker Antibiotice on Thursday reported a net profit of 23.2 million lei ($9.9 million/6.7 million euro), up from 19.1 million lei in the same period a year earlier.
Antibiotice stock closed unchanged at 1.84 lei the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Thursday. The company released its nine-month results after the close of trading.

Antibiotice has projected a net profit of 30 million lei for 2007, up from 23.8 million lei for 2006.
Romania is selling its 53.02% stake in Antibiotice. The government's privatisation agency AVAS has received 27 non-binding letters of intent for the majority stake in the drug maker.
