CHISINAU (Moldova), December 15 (SeeNews) – Moldovan bank BCR Chisinau will raise its share capital to 342.75 million lei ($28 million/19.2 million euro) through a 156.75 million lei share issue, the country’s securities commission, CNVM, said on Tuesday.
BCR Chisianu is a subsidiary of Romania's largest bank, Banca Comerciala Romana, owned by Austria's Erste Bank.
The bank will issue 15,675 new shares at a price equal to their par value of 10,000 lei each, CNVM said in a statement. The bank's existing shareholders will buy the the new shares.
Banca Comerciala Romana opened its subsidiary in the Moldovan capital in 1998.
BCR Chisinau swung to a 120.7 million lei loss in the first nine months of this year from 52 million lei net profit a year earlier.
