November 28 (SeeNews) - Romania sold on Monday 349.3 million euro ($366 million) worth of new Treasury bonds maturing on November 28 2025, below initial target, central bank data showed.
The average accepted yield was 4.13%, while demand totaled 405.3 million euro, the data indicated.
Also on Monday, the finance ministry sold a less than planned 394.2 million euro of new 2023 Treasury bills at a 2.87% yield, slightly below target.

Romania's finance ministry intends to sell 4.8 billion lei ($1.02 billion/ 974 million euro) worth of government securities in November, including 585 million lei in non-competitive offers.
So far this year, Romania has sold just roughly 56.5 billion lei and 1 billion euro worth of bonds and bills. It has also has tapped foreign markets for 2.5 billion euro worth of 2028 and 2034 Eurobonds, as well as $3.85 billion worth of dollar bonds.
