October 25 (SeeNews) - Sales of new passenger cars in Romania in the first nine months of 2007 rose by 23.1% on the year to 228,877 vehicles, the Romanian Car Producers and Importers Association (APIA) said on Thrusday.
Sales of commercial vehicles through September rose by 28.8% year-on-year to 34,487.
Last year sales of new passenger cars in Romania rose by 18.9% to 256,364.
