TIRANA (Albania), November 15 (SeeNews) – Raiffeisen Bank International's (RBI) profit after taxes from operations in Albania increased by 1.9% year-on-year to 27 million euro ($30.5 million) in the first nine months of 2018, the lender said.
RBI's operating income in Albania edged up by an annual 0.3% to 53 million euro in the January-September period, RBI said in an interim financial statement on Wednesday.
The lender's net interest income in the country fell 2.8% on the year to 41 million euro in the review period, while its net fee and commission income increased 11.6% to 13 million euro.
The general administrative expenses of RBI's Albanian unit rose by an annual 2.8% to 32 million euro in January-September.
The bank's non-performing loan (NPL) ratio in Albania was 14.8% at the end of September, compared to 17.9% a year earlier.

RBI's Albanian unit operated 78 business outlets in the country at the end of September, unchanged from September 2017.
