March 22 (SeeNews) - Hungarian bank OTP said its Croatian real estate subsidiary OTP Nekretnine has agreed to acquire Zagrebtower, owner of an office building in the Croatian capital, from Austrian real estate company CEE Property-Invest Immobilien GmbH.
OTP said on Thursday that the building spans 25,899 square metres. The completion of the transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected in the third quarter of 2024.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
With this acquisition, the Croatian real estate subsidiary of OTP will extend its presence in the commercial real estate market. In addition to its existing assets in seaside cities like Pula, Dubrovnik, Zadar, and Split, it will now also become a significant player in the capital city.
