September 10 (SeeNews) - NLB Banka Podgorica, the Montenegrin unit of Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said its net profit fell to 5.2 million euro ($5.7 million) in the first half of 2019, from 5.5 million euro in the like period of last year.
The bank's net interest income grew 13% on the year to 10 million euro in the first half, while net fee and commission income went up 0.2% to 1.8 million euro, according to the lender's interim financial statement, posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The loan portfolio of NLB Banka Podgorica totalled 359.5 million euro and deposits stood at 427.8 million euro at the end of June.
