August 29 (SeeNews) - NLB Banka Belgrade, the Serbian unit of Slovenia's largest lender, state-owned Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), said on Monday it booked a net profit of 2.3 million euro ($2.5 million) for the first half of 2016 without providing comparative figures.
The lender's revenues fell 1.3% on the year to 10.3 million euro in January-June, figures from parent NLB's interim financial report showed.
NLB Banka Belgrade said it extended loans amounting to 71 million euro during the first six months of the year, ranking among the top three NLB subsidiaries in terms of absolute production of new loans to clients.
The Serbian lender's total assets widened by 1.2% during the six-month period to 283.6 million euro.
In the first half, it opened three new branches in western Serbia - in Cacak, Sabac and Uzice.
NLB group posted a consolidated net profit of 69.5 million euro for the first half of 2016, up 30% from a year earlier.
