January 12 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Croatia edged up by 0.5% year-on-year to 826 in November, after increasing by 8.7% in the previous month, the national statistical office said on Friday.
The number of permits issued for buildings grew 7.9% on the year in November, reaching 684, while the number of permits issued for civil engineering works dropped 24.5% to 142, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
The planned value of works covered by the total number of construction permits issued in November reached 2.9 billion kuna ($471.0 million/388.6 million euro).
Out of the total number of permits issued in November, 594 were for new construction, while 232 related to reconstruction.
Based on the number of permits issued in November, 1,764 dwellings were planned, up 93.2% year-on-year.
