ZAGREB (Croatia), October 1 (SeeNews) – Croatian-based tourism company W2005/Dvadeset Osam said on Monday it has launched a buyout bid for 35.49% of the voting shares of the blue-chip Croatian hotel operator Arenaturist that it does not own yet.
The price set in the buyout bid is at 534.21 kuna ($104.1/73.2 euro) per share, W2005/Dvadeset Osam said in a statement to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).

W2005/Dvadeset Osam is a unit of U.S. investment banking and securities firm Goldman Sachs. It acquired a majority stake in Arenaturist this summer.
Officials of W2005/Dvadeset Osam were not immediately available to comment.
Arenaturist (www.arenaturist.hr) runs several hotels and holiday villages located on the northern Croatian Adriatic coast. It is one of the 30 components of the blue-chip Crobex index of the ZSE.
Its shares closed at 510 kuna on the ZSE on Monday, down 3.76% from Friday.
