PRISTINA (Kosovo), August 1 (SeeNews) – The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) to Kosovo increased to 22.4 million euro ($26.2 million) in May, as compared to 18.3 million euro in the same month of 2017, according to data of the country's central bank.
By comparison, foreign remittances to Kosovo increased to 73.1 million euro in May, up 8.2% year-on-year.
The sectors, which attracted the biggest volume of investment by non-residents in May were real estate, rental and business activities with 20.2 million euro and electricity, gas and water supply with 2 million euro.
