May 5 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's building materials producer Cementarnica Usje [MSE:USJE], a unit of Greek-based cement producer Titan, said that its net profit slumped to 7.6 million denars ($130,600/123,600 euro) in the first quarter of 2022, compared with a 182.1 million denars net profit booked in the same period a year earlier.
Cementarnica Usje's operating revenue edged up 1% year-on-year to 933.7 million denars in the first three months of the year, while operating costs grew 27% to 888.7 million denars, the company said in a bourse filing earlier this week.
Domestic sales added 9% to 677.6 million denars in the period under review, whereas sales on foreign markets dropped by an annual 19% to nearly 222 million denars.
Cementarnica Usje's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on May 3, when they switched hands at an average price of 41,000 denars.
