SKOPJE (North Macedonia), June 10 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in North Macedonia in April fell 3.6% year-on-year to 240, the state statistical office said on Monday.
The estimated value of the construction projects covered by the building permits issued in April decreased by an annual 14.6% to 5.3 billion denars ($97 million/85.6 million euro), Makstat said in a statement.
In April, 122 permits were issued for new buildings, 35 for civil engineering projects, and 83 for reconstruction projects. Of the total number of permits, 122 were issued to private individuals.
During the review period, 391 dwellings were planned for construction, with a total usable floor area of 28,249 sq m.
