May 9 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's finance ministry sold some 2.2 billion denars ($39.1 million/35.7 million euro) worth of government securities at two auctions on Tuesday, central bank data showed.
The finance ministry sold 1.5 billion denars worth of one-year Treasury bills at one auction and 681 million denars worth of 15-year government bonds at another auction, central bank data showed.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders in which the price and coupon are set in advance and primary dealers bid only with amounts.
