SKOPJE (North Macedonia), March 5 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia’s public enterprise for state roads PESR has invited tenders for reconstruction of two regional road sections, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
Tenders must be delivered by April 24, 2020 and the construction works will be financed with proceeds of an EBRD loan, the bank said in a procurement notice on Wednesday.
The project is part of a 181 million euro ($201.7 million) EBRD-financed programme for construction, reconstruction or rehabilitation of national and regional road sections in North Macedonia.
The project foresees the rehabilitation of 2 lots – 6.91 km regional road Uzem - Toranica, and 12.1 km regional road Makedonska Kamenica - Sasa.
“Tenders are invited for one or more lots. Each lot must be priced separately. Tenders for more than one lot may offer discounts and such discounts will be considered in the comparison of tenders,” the bank noted.
Tendering for contract is open to firms from any country.
