May 19 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian stock exchange (BSE) closed in green territory on Friday, with the blue-chip SOFIX posting the strongest gain, of 2.38% to 657.00 points, bourse data showed.
SOFIX was pushed upwards by energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG], which jumped by 6.67% to 1.76 levs, and IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], which added 5.98% to 24.80 levs.
Eurohold and Allterco also helped the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, grow by 1.60% to 146.73 points. Additionally, a 4.76% leap in express delivery company Speedy [BUL:SPDY] to 110.00 levs boosted the index.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, climbed by 0.86% to 742.61 points on the back of the gains at Eurohold and Allterco, along with a 4.36% climb in diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] to 8.62 levs.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only index to lose ground. It edged down by 0.06% to 189.52 points, following a 0.29% slip at Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.46 levs as all other stocks remained unchanged.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange went up to 1.05 million levs ($580,502/536,855 euro) on Friday from 980,312 levs on Thursday.
The top stock by turnover was Allterco, which generated 438,340 levs with 17,675 shares traded.
