PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 9 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin blue-chip coal miner Rudnik Uglja [MNG:RUPV] said its net profit rose to 5 million euro ($5.7 million) in the first nine months of 2018 from 4.9 million euro in the like period of the previous year.
The company's revenue went up 0.9% on the year to 29.9 million euro while operating costs fell 0.8% to 24.2 million euro, Rudnik Uglja said in a financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
Operating profit stood at 5.6 million euro in the first nine months, down from 5.2 million euro in the prior-year period, Rudnik Uglja said.
