March 4 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 4.9% year-on-year in January, after increasing by 4.6% a month earlier, official figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover declined by a real 14.7% in January, after growing by 15.9% in December, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales grew by 5.1% on the year in January after rising by the same rate of increase in December.
Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 3.4% in 2018 after rising by 3.3% in the previous year.
