PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 18 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s Prva Banka Crne Gore [MNE:PBCG] said it swung to a net loss of 913,000 euro ($1.014 million) in the first quarter of 2017 from a net profit of 112,000 euro in the respective period of last year.
The bank's net interest income rose to 2.045 million euro in the first quarter of 2017 from 1.931 million euro, while net fee and commission income declined to 467,000 euro from 528,000 euro, according to the lender's financial statement, posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 215.4 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 243.8 billion dinars at the end of the first quarter of 2017.
