October 31 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's average net monthly wage fell by a real 1.4% month-on-month in September, after increasing by 0.4% in August, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On an annual comparison basis, net earnings rose by 34.7% in September - the same rate of increase as in August, the statistical office said in a monthly wage report.
The average net wage in Montenegro amounted to 718 euro ($714) in September.
Montenegro's gross average wage totalled 887 euro in September.
The average gross earnings in the third quarter of 2022 increased by 1.3%, compared to the second quarter.
Montenegro's government increased the minimum wage to 450 euro from 250 euro as of January.
