PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 16 (SeeNews) – Erste Bank Podgorica, the Montenegrin unit of Austria's Erste Group, said its net profit edged down 0.5% to 7.9 million euro ($9.7 million) in 2017.
The bank's net interest income rose to 19.5 million euro in 2017 from 19.3 million euro in the previous year, while net fee and commission income grew to 3.2 million euro from 2.6 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's portfolio of deposits amounted to 359.8 million euro, while loans totalled 329.8 million euro at the end of 2017.
