PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 5 (SeeNews) – Erste Bank Podgorica, the Montenegrin unit of Austria's Erste Group, said its net profit fell in the first half of 2019 to 5.3 million euro ($5.9 million) from 6.5 million euro in the like period of last year.
The bank's net interest income grew to 11.3 million euro in the first six months of 2019 from 10.5 million euro in the like period of last year, while net fee and commission income went up to 1.6 million euro from 1.5 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's portfolio of loans amounted to 385 million euro, while deposits totalled 388.3 million euro at the end of the first half of 2019.
