November 18 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Montenegro in the third quarter of 2016 rose by an annual 30% to 249, but declined by 6.7% quarter-on-quarter, the country's statistics office said on Friday.
Based on the building permits issued in the July-September period, the number of planned dwellings rose by 13.7% on the year to 827. However, it declined by 16% quarter-on-quarter, the statistics office said in a statement.
The total floor area of planned dwellings increased to 56,615 sq m, up by 20.7% year-on-year.
In 2015, the number of issued building permits in Montenegro dropped 15.7% to 773.
