October 12 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's August consumer prices rose by 1.1% on the month and were 3.1% higher than a year earlier, the country's statistics office said.
In July, Montenegro's consumer price index (CPI) declined by 0.6% from June and was 2.1% higher year-on-year, the office said on its website.
The Adriatic country's CPI rose by 7.4% in 2008.
