- Workers of Montenegrin tobacco retailer Duvancomerc will hold a 24-hour protest rally in front of the government biulding in Podgorica if Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazovic and Economy Minister Branko Vujovic fail to invite them for talks until Monday, the head of the strike committee Dejan Bojovic said. Workers demand that government step in to ease their unenviable situation after announcements the retailer will be liquidated.
- The Montenegrin unit of Austria's Erste Bank said it made a profit of 700,000 euro in the first nine months of the year, according to the Montenegrin central bank standards. The profit equals 1.6 million euro according to international accounting standards.

- Montenegro said it will sign on Friday a deal for the sale of 90% of Adriatic resort operator Lustica Development to Egypt’s Orascom. According to the contract, Orascom will receive a 90-year lease on a plot of land on the Lustica peninsula and will invest at least 210 milion euro.
