May 5 (SeeNews) - Moldova’s producer prices in agriculture decreased by an annual 3.7% in the first three months of 2023, driven by a fall in plant products, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Producer prices for plant products dropped by 6.2% on the year in the first quarter of 2023, mostly driven by a decline in key crops, the National Bureau of Statistics, BNS, said in a press release.

Producer prices for animal products saw a 12.1% annual increase in January-March.
In 2022, Moldova recorded a 13.6% increase in agricultural producer prices.
