November 17 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 41.8% on the year to $2.969 billion (2.61 billion euro) in the first nine months of 2021, the country's statistics bureau said on Wednesday.
Moldova's exports were 21.1% higher on the year, while imports rose by an annual 32.4% during January-September the statistics office said in a statement.
In September alone, exports rose 38.9% on the year to $294.9 million, while imports rose 31.7% to $669.7 million.
