September 15 (SeeNews) - Moldova's trade deficit widened by 47.5% on the year to $2.255 billion (1.909 billion euro) in the first seven months of 2021, the country's statistics bureau said on Wednesday.
Moldova's exports rose 15.5%, while imports surged by 32.5% during January-July the statistics office said in a statement.
In June alone, exports rose 26% on the year to $241 million, while imports rose 13.1% to $561.9 million.
