May 16 (SeeNews) - Moldova's industrial output fell 2.3% year-on-year in March due to a strong decline in the mining sector, following a 1.7% drop in February, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
The statistical office, BNS, provided no month-on-month comparison figures.
In the first three months of 2017 Moldova's industrial output rose 0.9% on the year.
The country's industrial production increased 0.9% in 2016.
