July 31 (SeeNews) - Moldova may regain the ownership of its flag carrier Moldova Air and assume the management of Chisinau international airport, president Igor Dodon said.
In October, Romanian company Civil Aviation Group bought the indebted Moldova Air for 1.2 billion Moldovan lei ($67.8 million/61 million euro). Earlier this month, Dodon expressed doubts in the legality of the deal, claiming that the source of its financing was unclear.

Chisinau airport is operated by Avia Invest, a consortium of Russian company Kolomna Locomotive Works and Khabarovsk Airport, which won a 49-year concession for the airport in 2013.
"I think that this autumn the parliamentary commission that deals with this issue should propose that they be returned to the state," Dodon said on Tuesday during a Q&A session broadcast live by social network service Odnoklassniki.
Moldova needs to take control of Air Moldova and Chisinau airport, Dodon also said.
Civil Aviation Group comprises Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air and two individual associates, who are Moldovan citizens. One of them has a 20-year experience in aviation and is the co-owner of Georgian air carrier AMS Airlines Air Charter, while the other is a financial expert, president of a consulting company in the United States, Moldova's Public Property Agency (APP) said back then.
