September 14 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Macedonia through July rose by 9.1% to 355,551, the Statistics Office said.
Tourist overnights increased by 4.6% to some 1.14 million in the first seven months of the year, with foreign nationals accounting for 409,425 of the total, the statistics office said in a statement.
In July alone, a total of 119,770 tourists visited Macedonia, up by 14.5% on the year, while overnights increased by an annual 4.1% to 592,837.
