April 23 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of Macedonia’s commercial banks rose to 258.3 billion denars ($4.5 billion/4.2 billion euro) at the end of March from 236.5 billion denars a year earlier, central bank data showed on Thursday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was up by 1.2% at the end of March, according to figures from the central bank.
Loans to households increased to 109.6 billion denars at the end of March from 108.2 billion denars a month earlier.
